Creative Capacity NYC

Energy and Creativity Expansion

About

A creative block is rarely random - it's usually the signature of a complex: a charged emotional knot, often unconscious, that hijacks you the moment your work asks you to be seen. My work is to help you find that knot, actually feel and release its charge, and rebuild your creative practice from steadier ground.

As a creativity coach in Brooklyn, NYC, I work with clients both locally and remotely. Creative Coaching with me follows a simple arc: we find the pattern underneath your block - the creative burnout, the stuck feeling, the thing you can't quite name - we work to actually feel and release its emotional charge - not just talk around it - and then we rebuild your creative practice on more solid ground. Together we'll draw on talk, somatic exploration, breathwork, shadow integration, and energy healing to loosen what keeps your light bound, and uncover long-buried creative impulses so they have real room to root and thrive.

This work comes from twenty years as an artist in Brooklyn, where my creative and personal journeys evolved side by side. What began as a fascination with Carl Jung's theories of the Psyche gradually expanded into an exploration of tarot, intentional energy work, and creative ritual, alongside decades of my own practice with Julia Cameron's The Artist's Way. I deepened my grounding in Jung's work directly, spending five years in analysis with a well-regarded Jungian scholar. Her guidance, alongside my own informal study of Jung's ideas, shapes how I help clients recognize the specific pattern driving a block, rather than treating it as a general lack of discipline or talent.

In 2024 I further deepened this path by training with transformational coach and healer Kute Blackson, completing his yearlong Coach Apprentice Program in 2025 with several weeks of study and service alongside him in India. That training gave me the tools to help clients actually feel and release what a pattern like this holds, once it's named - the step that talk alone rarely accomplishes.

I offer sessions in person in Brooklyn, NY and remotely. Questions welcome at [email protected] - if you're ready to explore working together, book a Discovery Conversation below.

Testimonials

Here's what working together has looked like for one client so far: "Fantastic. You were compassionate, respectful and your presence created a safe space that encouraged me to have courage to access buried feelings in a non-frightening way.

What worked?
Grounding at the beginning of the session.
Having an intention was a fantastic beginning to a session; it centered and focused me.
Being gently guided to access feelings and emotions and trust myself.
Having ‘homework’ based on the session focused and grounded me, helped still my mind and concentrate on a path whereby I could move past thought/habit to access feelings, instead of my usual intellectual ’trouble-shooting’ approach of “what’s wrong with me, how do I fix it.”
Being guided to trust the process
Being guided to trust the universe
Being guided to trust myself, and recognize and access what I didn’t know I knew.
Being guided to trust, honor and unconditionally love myself and have compassion for myself.

Thank you."

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is your office located? Can you see clients remotely?
I see clients in person in a therapist's office at 26 Court Street in downtown Brooklyn.  Just steps from the 2-3-4-5-R Borough Hall subway station.   I can also see clients remotely, although if you are in New York City I would prefer to have at least one session in person; after that we can work remotely if you prefer.
What can I expect in our first session?
Your first session is essentially a diagnostic session — we're looking for the pattern behind whatever's blocking you right now. I'll ask about your history, your current creative practice, and where you feel stuck, while also tuning into what's happening energetically. Depending on what surfaces, we may begin some gentle release work together — breathwork, movement, or simply feeling into where the block lives in your body. There's no fixed script; the first session meets you where you are and gives us both a clearer picture of what to work on together.
How many sessions will I need to have?
That depends on what you're working with. Some clients start with a Discovery Conversation to see if we're a fit, then move into my New Client Intro — three sessions built to find the pattern behind a current block, release its charge, and start rebuilding your practice. Others prefer ongoing support as new blocks surface. We can always adjust the pace and structure to what you need.
